Photographing Christmas Lights Indoors During Christmas 2025, I experimented with macro-style photos of indoor Christmas lights using a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens on a Canon 5D Mark II DSLR. Shooting at a wide aperture created a shallow depth of field and strong bokeh, which helped capture the soft, festive atmosphere of the lights indoors.
