A Walk Around The Loddiswell Area

Loddiswell is a village in South Devon surrounded by countryside and quiet lanes. This post shares a walk around the Loddiswell area, along with some black and white photography experiments from the day.

Walking Around Loddiswell

On the 26th of October 2025, my mum, dad, and I went for a walk around the Loddiswell area once again. The surrounding countryside made for a calm and reflective walk, away from busier towns.

Black and White Photography Experiments

On that day, I was experimenting with black and white photography, focusing on tonal detail and contrast. Walking through the Loddiswell area provided a good setting to explore how light, shadows, and textures work without colour.
