Sharrah Pool, Dartmoor: A Wild Swimmer's Dream.

On the 7th of July 2026: Amber and I, went for a swim in Sharrah Pool in Dartmoor.

To get to Sharrah Pool, we had to walk quite a long way on very uneven and potentially dangerous terrain through the woods. And I was nervous doing it funny enough.

When we were walking through the wood, we stumbled across a tiny waterfall, and it was magical. We had to walk through the tiny stream that was coming from the waterfall.

When we got to Sharrah Pool, which is along the River Dart: We went swimming in the deep part of it, and funny enough I could feel my self being sucked to one part of it. It was nice and cooling in the hot weather.

When I looked up the trees: I could see sunlight bursting through the trees, which kind of took me to a time before the internet, even though I was struggling to let go of my frustrations to do with "how I don't really enjoy being on benefits".
