Slapton Village: A Summer's Amble Around The Village.
On the 26th of July 2026: My mum and Dad and I, went for a walk mostly around Slapton Village. I also saw the very creepy derelict tower in the village, which again makes me think of fantasy a

Photographing Christmas Lights Indoors During Christmas 2025, I experimented with macro-style photos of indoor Christmas lights using a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens on a Canon 5D Mark II DSLR. Shooting at a wide aperture created a shallow depth of field and strong bokeh, which helped capture the soft, festive atmosphere of the lights indoors. This post shares a few examples of how Christmas lights can be photographed creatively at home using simple equipment and natural light.
